Johan Land is Samsara’s Chief Product Officer, leading global product vision and strategy. Johan and his team harness 25 trillion annual data points to digitize the world of physical operations - industries that make up 40% of the world’s GDP - including construction, transportation, logistics, utilities, and field services. Johan oversees a suite of hardware and AI-driven software that automates industrial workflows, advancing physical AI for efficiency and safety. Under his leadership, Samsara was named to the TIME100 Most Influential Companies of 2026. With a career spanning product leadership roles at Waymo, Google, and YouTube, Johan previously served as Chief Product Officer at TomTom and Kobalt Music. He has served on the board of Superbet since 2021. Johan holds an M.B.A from Harvard Business School and a M.S. from KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm. He lives in the Bay area with his family.
